From filing a claim through the resolution of that claim, the claims process can take time and bring about many questions. We are your advocate and can help you navigate this process. The fastest way to file a claim and get immediate instructions is to contact the carrier directly on their claims hotline. Below are some helpful hints about claims:
Locate your policy, policy number, and carrier’s contact information
Contact the carrier immediately with loss description and ask for instructions (links below)
Create a diary of the loss to include the date, time, and circumstances surrounding the loss
Document the loss with photos, video, receipts, and written inventory of damaged items
Record information the carrier gives: claim number, claim representative, contact numbers
